Teen Challenge Canada at Fundy Seaside

Sun. Nov. 27th

  • 11:00 AM  Worship Service featuring Teen Challenge Canada
  • 12:30 PM Church Potluck

The TCC’s Atlantic Men’s Team will share a presentation and their stories of finding freedom from addiction during our 11:00 AM worship service. We will gather donations for TCC’s cause, including the Atlantic Men’s Centre right here in our province of New Brunswick, and the Atlantic Women’s Centre located in Newfoundland. 
Here’s how you can prepare your donation

  • Put your donations for Teen Challenge in a separate envelope. Any envelope that is not the church’s regular offering envelopes will do.
  • In cash or cheque payable to “Teen Challenge Canada”. (Not to the church). 
  • If you want a receipt from TCC at the end of the calendar year, please include the necessary details with your donation: Your first and last name, and mailing address.  
  • On the day of the TCC team’s presentation, we will have two separate offering plates for the givers to put their respective offerings: One for the regular church offerings; another for the donations to Teen Challenge. 

GIVING Gifts of Hope

Sunday, Dec. 4th

For the FSBC congregation, whether you are connected with us In-person, In-community, or Online!  

Who, What, & Where are we giving to? 

  • Breakfast Program for Fundy Shores School
  • Canadian Baptist Ministries’ (CBM’s) Hopeful Gifts Program: Our focused region to give to this Christmas will be Lebanon. 

On Sunday, Dec. 4th, Fundy Seaside will be collecting the following donations:

  1. Food Supplies Drive for our local school: Fundy Shores Elementary.
    • Drop off AT OUR CHURCH on Sun. Dec. 4th any of the Top 4 most needed items for the School’s Breakfast Program this season. All in all, around half of the school’s children benefit from this program regularly. They are in the following order:
      • Cereal: These varieties ONLY – Rice Krispies, Regular Cheerios, Regular Corn Flakes – any name or generic brand) 
      • Apple Sauce & Fruit Cups: any fruit variety – any name or brand, in juice or syrup.
      • Nut-free Cereal Bars
      • Gift cards (No Frills or Walmart)
  2. Donations for CBM’s Ministries in Lebanon
    • In the past year, our church’s Prayer Group has been praying for CBM’s Partners in Mission around the world. One of them is Joe Bridi and his team, doing ministry in Lebanon. The needs are wide-spread, but we can help.
      • For example, With $50, we can give the gift of going to summer camp for refugee children and youth who are terrorized by war and violence and displacement; with $500, we can give scholarships to enable pastors/evangelists/skilled Christian lay leaders receive needed training at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary located in Lebanon.
      • We are collecting donations as a church this Christmas and will send what we have collected through CBM’s Hopeful Gifts: “Where Most Needed” program this Christmas. CBM will then match our gift, dollar for dollar.
    • The last day to send in this donation is Dec. 4th (2nd Sunday of Advent).
      • NOTE: Use a regular church offering envelope. (mark in the “Other” field”: CBM Hopeful Gifts WMN)

These could be fun! Engage the people you know. Offer to buy and/or bring donations/food items/gift cards to the church for seniors/elderly members and neighbours.
