Pastor Rachel’s sermon:  “Great Age.” Key Scripture: Lk. 2:36-38
(Part III, Prophesying the Fulfillment sermon series.)

FSBC’s Giving Hopeful Gifts Update, Part 2:
Giving to Canadian Baptist Ministry (CBM) towards their work in Lebanon.

Our giving towards this cause, coupled with CBM matching our donation dollar to dollar, last Sunday we raised an equivalent of upwards of 2200$ – the same as sending 44 displaced and struggling refugee children and youth to summer camps organized by CBM’s field partners in Lebanon, helping them to have much needed recreation in a safe place, and chances to know Jesus and respond to His love. Great job, church!
If you were not able to be there last Sunday in person but would like to donate online towards our cause, please visit and donate using the designated website:

The Last Sermon

“It is what it is.” Part II, Prophesying the Fulfillment sermon series. Rev. Rachel Kwan.
Key Scripture: Lk. 2:30-35.

How can shopping for meat and fruits help me learn and gain insights from what the elderly gentleman Simeon’s prophecy in Luke chapter 2?
When we look at the respective stories of two individuals: Simeon and Anna in Luke chapter 2, what can we find? What are some of their “secrets to success”? May this series bless you as you seek to live out your faith with hope in the love of God.

You can take in last Sunday’s sermon at any time. Past sermons are available on the Sermons at the Seaside page.

If you prefer to read the sermon transcript, it is available on Pastor Rachel’s blog:
