Previous Sermons

“My Bucket List” Part 1 – Has Gilgal “unpromised” itself?
(2 Kings 2:1; Rom. 2:29; 1 Cor. 15:56-58) “…No matter which Gilgal, Gilgal was such a significant place! However, Gilgal is not mentioned in the New Testament at all. How come such an important place which started off as such a promising place in the Old Testament, would have lost its significance to such a point that it was never mentioned once thousands of years later?” “The true Gilgal is found in Christ … thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. …We will not lose heart when fatigue sets in, may we continue to pray for others, stand in the gap, for in the right time, God will bring the harvest…when we labour for Him, we lose nothing and gain everything

“My Bucket List”, Part 2. First Stop: Bethel. Has Israel been disinherited?
(2 Kings 2:2a; Rom. 11:17-24; Gal. 6:16; Eph. 2:12-13.) “…we see that Elijah knows that God wants him to visit three places before he goes up to heaven in a whirlwind. so Bethel is first of those three places after Gilgal. Why Bethel? And what is God trying to say to us today, through telling Elijah to go to Bethel as the first of these three places?” “God gives Jacob this new name, Israel. Israel is named 75 times in the New Testament. One name – 75 instances in the New Testament. …really significant…” “There is only one olive tree in God’s garden, and the same olive tree exists across the Old and the New Covenants. The Israel of God sees God’s promises and fulfilment across all historical timelines….”

GriefShare Info Session
Sept 21 Thurs. 7:00-8:00 PM GriefShare Info Session at Fundy Seaside.

Curious to know about the GriefShare Ministry: #1 grief support group in the world?
GriefShare helps walk you through your grief process and heal from the pain.
Elsie, group participant

  • No one needs to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare ministry is a caring and friendly group of people who walk alongside each other through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
  • GriefShare is a highly-recommended program by folks in community and churches, bereavement and mental-health professionals alike.
  • Each Griefshare group lasts for 13 weeks, offering comfort and encouragement in a safe setting.
  • For those who are interested to know what this is about, we are holding an info session for our church folks on Sept 21 Thurs. 7:00 PM at the church.
  • We are not asking for commitment at this point. But if you are curious and you think you yourself and someone you know will benefit from being a part of something like GriefShare, we really encourage you to come to this info session.
