A refreshed review on what it means to us when we are praying “Hallowed be Thy Name”.
What does Hallowed or Holy actually mean to us when Jesus is teaching us how to pray?

Quotes from the sermon:
” sanctify = sense of distinction of our Father from other gods…He is the one and only God that we believe in, and to whom we belong. … It’s like when you are in love … your one and only …It’s a love expression. “Exclusiveness” is the key.”

“Hallowed/holy be Thy Name – it means God has set us apart as His children but at the same time, we also set Him apart as our only ONE… He has a unique place in our hearts…because our greatest comfort is in this …: Faithful is He that calleth you; He also will do it. So the work is still in progress.”

“Let us be prepared to make changes in our lives, because this pleases our God and Father. … like what Jesus told Mary in the garden the first thing after He resurrected: Go tell my brothers – ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (Jn. 20:17)”

“God has become our Father in heaven, and we are His children only because of Jesus. We are not alone trying to keep God’s commandments by our own abilities and will power. But God our Father in heaven will walk with us and help us by His Spirit dwelling within us…He who called you will do it …so put our faith in Christ …and you are never alone again.”

A few CBAC Council member and members of the CBAC Team (staff) will be at each listening session.

An open mic time for questions and comments will be given. In addition, you’ll be invited to reflect and give your input on questions such as:

  • What do you appreciate most about the CBAC?
  • What needs to change in the CBAC for the sake of our joint mission moving forward?
  • What are the biggest challenges you see your church facing? And the CBAC facing?
  • As you think about the future of the CBAC and your church, what fears do you have?
  • What is your God-sized dream for the CBAC?
